Step-by-Step Guide
- When loading the taper, keep 1-2 fingers in the tube as it sits snugly attached to the gooseneck compound pump attachment.
- As compound is pumped into your taper, keep two fingers in the bottom of the tube and feel for the piston to make contact.
- When the piston can be felt at the bottom of the tube, stop pumping!
Pro tip: Count how many pumps it takes to fill the auto taper to avoid guesswork in the future.
